Oublier le monde qui se trouve autour de vous, projeter son esprit autre part. Wolves in the Throne Room a toujours eu une façon singulière de nous faire voir les choses sous un autre angle bien plus grand. Thrice Woven part en des temps immémoriaux dans laquelle la Nature est exaltée ("The Old Ones are With Us"), les mythes — nordiques ? — célébrés (qui d'autre que Anna von Hausswolff et sa voix magnifique pour faire ça ?) avec un black metal rapide qui s'inspire de la vague finlandaise.

That is some "bleak chick" music if I ever heard one. Some aggressive parts and a few snarls and growls. However, doom is king here: Heavy guitars, well orchestrated synths and her pleasant melancholic voice.
